Amarenco develops, finances, builds and operates large and medium-scale photovoltaic projects globally. Founded in 2013, the company has grown to manage over 800 projects with more than 2,000 installations across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Asia-Pacific. The company raised nearly €500 million from established investors since 2020.
The company operates across the complete solar energy production chain, from project financing and design through construction to ongoing operations and maintenance. Its capabilities include photovoltaic project design, project management, and stakeholder engagement with farmers, local communities, industrial enterprises and commercial operators. In 2018, Amarenco merged with Méthode Carré, a design office founded in 2008 that specialised in photovoltaic project design and engineering.
Amarenco positions itself as an independent photovoltaic energy producer, working in partnership with local stakeholders on projects tailored to agricultural, industrial and commercial energy needs across three continents.
